Meditation opens doorways in the heart

Books and Tapes

  • Information about Friends of the Heart Publications available for sale through this site.

Library for Members

  • Members may borrow from the library at the centre. This section includes searchable lists of our current holdings, plus email links for suggesting/requesting appropriate additions to our collection.

Left Brain*

  • Essays, discussions, letters, and other tools for rational study of the dharma.

Right Brain*

  • Pictures, meditations, prayers, poetry, and other tools for intuitive/visual study of the dharma.

*We have a lot of individual resources, and are trying to break them down in a useful way. We've chosen to group them as "left" or "right" brain tools, corresponding with current popular notions about the function of each half of the brain. These notions are drastically oversimplified, of course, and our categorization is not meant to characterize a given author or imply a detailed knowledge of neurology!
